Timelab started the program Able Machinery Repair inspired by the success of Makerbot. This DIY 3D printer shows us how a machine works and how it can be repaired, rebuilt or improved. Able Machinery Repair tell us we can make the machine we need, we can fix it instead of throw away or recycle.

Open structures allow different people with different skills to create together.

Open hardware shows that open source business models are possible, but they are still in their infancy. Timelab examines how this model is further developed. It's a business model that is also very well suited for young designers today.
